CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS ARE REALLY FUN TO MAKE. There it is. The truth comes out. I felt like a master artist while making these! I based this Chocolate Covered Pretzel recipe very, very losely off of Food.com’s recipe. When I say losely I mean that they say to use wax paper to put your just dipped pretzels onto as you let them cool. I didn’t use bittersweet chocolate like they use, and I didn’t measure any of the chocolate out. The amount of pretzels that were made isn’t even known. After making these I brought them down to the church my dad works at, they have a ‘pasta supper’ on Wednesday night after their service for the homeless and others who need a good meal! I was very happy to take these down to them, included were a few cupcakes that hadn’t left my kitchen yet. I liked making these pretzels a lot and I’m glad that they came out so well!
I used some random ingredients for these though:
- Sourdough jumbo pretzels
- Left over cinnamon sugar
- Left over peppermint/Oreo crumble
- Milk Chocolate
- 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
- Marshmallow bits
- Red and Green sprinkles
- White chocolate candy melts
- Oreo chunks
I did not measure out a single thing for this. I simply put what looked like a good amound of chocolate into the pan and melted it. Then dipped the pretzels in, covering them completely (or as you’ll see, halfway), and then sprinkling a cute little topping onto it! It really was very fun, and this post is going to be short because of how little goes into this one.

- Dark chocolate with peppermint/Oreo crumble top
- Dark chocolate
- Dark chocolate with red and green sprinkles
- Half white chocolate/half milk chocolate
- Half milk chocolate with Oreo chunks/half white chocolate
- White chocolate with dark chocolate drizzle
- Half white chocolate with dark chocolate drizzle/half milk chocolate with dark chocolate drizzle
- Half white chocolate with green sprinkles
- Half white chocolate with red sprinkles
- Half white chocolate with dark chocolate drizzle
- Half dark chocolate
- Half milk chocolate with Oreo chunks
- Milk chocolate with marshmallow bits
- Milk chocolate with Oreo chunks
- Milk chocolate with red sprinkles
- Milk chocolate with red and green sprinkles
- Milk chocolate with peppermint/Oreo crumbles
There are so many different variations because of how much fun I was having but also because I guessed on the melted chocolate amounts and made the pretzels until the chocolate was used up. I made sure to keep my favorite looking ones aside for my mother before bringing the rest down to the church. She thought the white chocolate with dark chocolate pretzels were the best. This recipe was a success!
